HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Today looks like the quietest daywe will see for awhile in the Shenandoah Valley. Temperatures will be cooler, with a mix of clouds and sunshine and only a slight chance of an isolated shower. Most areas should remain dry as the region sits between weather systems.

Rain chances increase tonight and especially Saturday as a developing low pressure system and approaching disturbance bring showers and scattered thunderstorms to the Valley. A few showers or storms may linger into Sunday before drier, less humid air arrives early next week. Monday and Tuesday are expected to be mostly dry and comfortable, with seasonable temperatures and lower humidity.
