BROADWAY VA: (Rocktown Now) – Homecoming was a celebration from start to finish Friday night as the Broadway Gobblers delivered an impressive performance, shutting out the Spotswood Trailblazers 48-0 to remain unbeaten on the season.

Broadway wasted little time setting the tone, finding the end zone early and often while overwhelming Spotswood on both sides of the football. The Gobblers built a commanding 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back, cruising to the lopsided victory in front of a jubilant home crowd.

The balanced offensive attack featured four different players scoring touchdowns for Broadway, showcasing the depth and versatility that has fueled the team’s strong start. The Gobblers’ defense was equally dominant, keeping the Trailblazers off the scoreboard throughout the contest.

The highlight of the night came on the defensive side when Kaden Rhodes intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown, putting the finishing touches on Broadway’s homecoming celebration.

With the win, the Gobblers improve to 4-0 on the season and continue to build momentum heading into the heart of their schedule. Spotswood falls to 2-2 after suffering its first shutout loss of the year.
