VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (EMU Athletics) – EMU made the long trip down to the beach on Tuesday, heading to #21 Batten for both teams final ODAC match of the season.

The Marlins showed why they’re ranked in the top-25 in all of DIII, picking up a 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-8) win over the Royals.

– Kills from Lindsay Bly and Emma Rogers got EMU started early, as they lead 3-2 to start the first. Batten then went on a 19-3 run over the next 22 points, with Emma Greer and Rogers providing the three points for the Royals. Haley Atkins picked up a solo block and a kill down the stretch, but the Marlins finished off the set with a kill and an ace, for a 1-0 lead.
