Highlights

First Half
The Royals won the opening tipoff and never looked back opening the game on a 23-3 in the first 6:53, picking up eight points from Isaiah Carr, six apiece from Edixon Blanco and Jazen Walker, and shooting 9-11 from the field, and 4-4 from three. After Randolph sandwiched an EMU basket with two of their own, making the score 25-7, EMU went on another run, this time 10-0, highlighted by another five points from Carr, to take a 35-7 advantage with 5:36 left to play in the half. The WildCats kept clawing, going on a big run of their own, 19-3, in the final five minutes of the half, but EMU led at the break 38-26.

Second Half
After a WildCat jumper pulled Randolph within 10 to start the half, Blanco scored five straight points, and Walker added a layup and a free throw, to extend EMU’s lead back to 18. Randolph scored the next five points before Brooks’ layup stopped the WildCat tilt. RC was able to cut EMU’s lead to 11 twice in the second half, with the latest being at the 10:20 mark, but EMU’s offense continued to be strong, wrapping up the game on a 20-16 run while shooting 50% from the field and at least six different Royals getting in on the scoring, to secure the win.
