FOREST, Va. (BC Athletics) – Parker Burke and Aiden Grefe of the Bridgewater College football team have been named ODAC Players of the Week after their clutch performances in BC’s victory over Washington and Lee on Saturday.

Burke was efficient under center on Saturday. BC’s starting quarterback was an efficient 25-of-33 passing for 165 yards and two touchdowns. of his two scores, none was bigger than on fourth down with the game on the line. The North Carolina native found Nick Barahona over the middle in a tight window from 21 yards out to get BC to within one. The Eagles went for the win and Bruke found Caeden Walters at the pylon for the successful two-point conversion and a 22-21 victory.

Grefe was Bridgewater’s leading rusher after a clutch fake punt. The senior watched the sea of Generals part in front of him and took off up the middle for a gain of 34 and flipped the field.
