Initial court proceedings are coming together for the Florida woman accused of murdering an elderly Strasburg resident last month.
According to online records, an arraignment hearing for Cristina Sanchez Landon on Friday was continued until August 25th in Shenandoah County Circuit Couty.
The 56-year-old resident of Panama City, Florida is charged with second degree murder in the July 3rd death of 72-year-old Patricia Helen Walker, who was found dead in her home after authorities responded to reports of a medical emergency.
Landon remains in custody at the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail.
