STRASBURG, Va – A nearly 10-year-old Pennsylvania cold case has been solved with the arrest of a Strasburg man.

According to a news release, Strasburg Police arrested James Edgar Callahan in connection with the identification of skeletal remains that were positively identified last February as Michael Allen Holober through a familial D-N-A match.

Those remains were discovered by a hiker on May 27th, 2014, within Pennsylvania State Game Lands in Rye Township, Perry County.

Holober was 45 at the time of his death and was a resident of Strasburg.

After a grand jury handed up two felony indictments earlier this month, Callahan was taken into custody Tuesday during a traffic stop in Front Royal and is being held without bond.
