Page County authorities have confirmed that a shooting Sunday morning resulted in a fatality.
Captain Stephen Owens reports that the incident happened just before nine o’clock on Jollett Road in the Elkton area.
Owens did not release the name of the victim, but he did say the shooting had no connection to the narcotics search warrant that was executed earlier this month on Jollett Road and resulted in four arrests. The shooting remains under investigation.
