Lawn experts offer advice during a drought

Virginia homeowners are being offered advice on how to save their lawns during a drought.

Portions of Virginia are in severe drought in early October. And lawns are not looking so good in recent weeks. That’s according to Turf Grass Specialist Mike Goatley at Virginia Tech who says your lawn turf may look bad now, but it’ll probably make a comeback next spring.

Goatley says Mother Nature is used to seeing extremes in moisture and temperature. And your lawn grass, it’ll be just fine.
