STANARDSVILLE, Va –Â Greene County authorities are searching for a Stanardsville man involved in a shooting last Friday.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, deputies responded to Ford Avenue in Stanardsville in reference to a shooting.
Sheriff Steven Smith stated that this was an isolated incident, and an individual was treated on scene for a gunshot wound.
Smith added 61-year-old Jeffery Dennis Simms has been identified as the offender and he is wanted on four charges, including malicious wounding and maliciously shooting at an occupied vehicle.
